Hopefully the "offenders" will see this and learn something.

When you try to reference a photo from a facebook page, it's not going to show up here. A photo from any place where you have to log in to get access doesn't work. It's best to reference a photo from somewhere like Photobucket which allows you to directly reference photos and they'll appear the same anywhere else as they do on their web site. Photobucket accounts are free, by the way.

There are two things that you can do to check that a photo will show up.

1) Paste the link you'll be using into a new window or new tab of your browser and see if it displays properly all by itself.

2) Click on the Preview button below the Message window and make sure that the photo at least shows up properly in that.
