When lifting the rear tire for the calculation, where and how do you lift the bike, and how high? This can effect the weight reading. I would guess that you lift directly above or at the rear axle, and height should be just enough to clear the ground. Is this correct?

You lift the rear-end at least one full foot.
You can do that from the rear axle or merely by having the rear tire standing on top of blocks. |

Of course the height is critical. The higher you raise it, the shorter the wheelbase becomes. You need to measure how high you raise it.
What is not critical is whether you raise the rear-end or the front (and reverse the measurements). |

Ahh! Got you! I mis-understood height of rear wheel as rear wheel axle height. I am looking at the spreadsheet with Excel viewer, which does not allow me to see the formulas.
